Investment FAQs (9:06)Resources and Accepting PAL Feeds (16:00)
As an Advisor Service Trainer, Alexis Patenaude, gets questions and hosts educational meetings with RPAG members every day. This month, her two most highly asked questions were, "What resources are available for PAL?" and "How do I accept a PAL feed?"
For resources, you will first go to the Resource Center on the RPAG portal, then find the Plan Asset Link folder. There you will find "How to Accept PAL Links," "PAL Description for Plan Sponsors," and "PAL Overview and Provider List." The first resource gives you step by step instructions for accepting PAL Links, the second is an email template that you can send to your plan sponsors, specifically when you are sending them the PAL consent form to sign. The third document outlines the PAL process as well as shows a list of all providers we have PAL relationships with.
Under the PAL folder, you'll find another category called "Provider Consent Forms" which are necessary for a majority of RPAG users to establish a PAL connection. After it is filled out, it can be sent to PAL@rpag.com. The easiest way to accept a PAL feed is going to the plan card of a client/prospect with a PAL connection. Then click on the orange circle indicating action needs to be taken. You then can review the funds and then save the link. For more detailed PAL information, please head to Alexis's recent PAL session here.
Thank you for looking at the clues with us this month, we hope you enjoyed learning alongside us. To see next month's, join us Monday, June 2.
